Tubal reversal surgery is the microsurgical procedure used for the reversal of tubal sterilization.  It can restore the function of fallopian tubes after tubal ligation (tying of the tubes). Other terms for tubal reversal surgery are tubal ligation reversal, microsurgical tubal reanastomosis, and microsurgical tubal repair (or MTR).
