Steps to Develop Your Website With IHR

IHR has partnered with M29 to develop our Advanced Website Services (AWS) websites. We spent considerable time looking for a company who specializes in AWS technology and who also provides excellent customer service. M29 was the best. Here's some additional information about our partnership:

  • IHR is currently working with M29 on numerous AWS projects. We consider M29 to be a member of our team.

  • While M29 does the website development work, IHR monitors the progress, from beginning to end. We use a common ticketing system, in which all parties (i.e., IHR clients, IHR, and M29) can enter/update tickets and all parties get email updates.

  • Basically you will have two parties looking after your interests - M29 and IHR.

  • M29 will continue to add Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into all AWS websites.

Here are the steps we use to build (or enhance) a website for you:

  1. Call IHR at 925-284-9362 to discuss your needs. IHR will discuss the following items with you:

    1. Define the main pages to use for your web site.
    2. What Domain Name would you like for your site? Feel free to review IHR's educational page Obtaining a Domain Name for Your Infertility Web Site.
    3. Define the main messages you want to communicate on your site.
    4. Define the level of website design that you want.
    5. Define whether you only want to describe your organization or also provide educational pages.
    6. Define the size of your website. Do you want a relatively small website (e.g. under 10 web pages), a medium-sized website (e.g. 40 pages), or a large website (e.g., over 100 pages)?
    7. What Advanced Website Services will you want to initially use?
    8. When do you need your website? Any hard deadlines?

  2. Review these business-expectations pages:

    1. Typical Website Development Costs
    2. IHR Web Development and Hosting Terms of Agreement

  3. Order the service as follows:

    1. Complete/return the Website Development and Hosting Order Form.
    2. Send a deposit.

  4. M29 will contact you to discuss the project. Following are some potential topics for your look-and-feel discussion with M29:

NOTE: We are able to develop your website look-and-feel and your web page content separately. They are not dependant on each other. This discussion assumes you start with your website look-and-feel.

    1. What main and ancillary colors would you like to use?
    2. Are there certain themes you want to convey in the website topbar, such as nature, babies, scientific emphasis, or clinical emphasis?
    3. On the "baby photo" spectrum, what do you want to show in your topbar? - happy family photos, cute baby photos, or beautiful embryo photos?
    4. Do you have a brochure which you can use to begin the process to help you define the website look-and-feel as well as the page content?  If not, where will you obtain the material? It's particularly helpful if you have electronic versions of brochures, etc.
    5. What websites do you like and what do you like about those websites? You can review the websites on on these two pages to begin defining what you want for your website

  5. M29 will work with you to develop your website's look-and-feel:

    1. If you have electronic copies of your logo, stationary, and brochures, then email that material to M29. If you don't have electronic versions, anyone who developed your hardcopy materials may have electronic versions. If an electronic version is not available, then you can mail the graphic artist hardcopy versions.
    2. M29 will develop some look-and-feel demos for you, for your review.
    3. You would then review the demos and approve a final website look-and-feel.

  6. M29 will use your approved demo to create some "HTML Templates" for your website.

  7. You will work with M29 to develop your website content:

    1. Review Main Pages to Use for Your Web Site (e.g. services page, staff page, Contact Us page) to get ideas for pages.
    2. Review How to Provide Your Material to IHR to understand how best to send us text and photos.
    3. Tell M29 if there are any topics you want to emphasize on your website (e.g. your egg donor program, PGD, your lab, etc.)?
    4. What Advanced Website Services will you want to initially use?
    5. Send your text and photos to M29.

  8. M29 will then add the content to your website:

    1. Add your content into the website HTML Template pages.
    2. You'll review your website as it's being developed and provide feedback.
    3. IHR will ensure that the site meets your business goals.
    4. At the end of the process, M29 optimizes the keywords in your pages to facilitate higher search engine rankings.
    5. IHR will then make your website public by adding one or promotional listings for your site to our IHR.com infertility website to send highly qualified traffic to your new site.

That's it!  We look forward to working with you.  Our goal is to make your Internet marketing both easy and successful.
