Setting up Google AnalyticsIn June 2009, IHR started using Google Analytics, to track website traffic, for all of our new clients. Google Analytics is a very powerful tool for analyzing your web hosting traffic... and it's free! IHR generally recommends that you sign up for your own Google Analytics (GA) account, because then the GA account belongs to you, not IHR. This means your website can be hosted anywhere and still use your same Google Analytics account. You can also provide account access to any consultant you wish. It's under your control. Also, if your GA was running under an IHR account and you were to leave the IHR service, for Google technical reasons, you couldn't pull your historical GA data out of the IHR account. In order to sign up for Google Analytics, you must first have a Google Account. If you forgot your Google Account password, or are not sure if you have a Google Account, refer to the section at the bottom of this page - "Problems Logging into Google Account" Steps to Set Up Google Analytics
